UNC, Duke, or Georgetown SFS?

So, I've narrowed my dilemma down to these schools. I dont have a major in mind, but I am leaning away from natural sciences and tech - so far that's a s specific as I can get. I guess the school will determing the major.

UNC - I have a scholarship here and am in state, so it's virtually free. And I know it's a great education, and I'm a bred tarheel, but I feel like I'll get too much education and not enough experience. Non-natural sci Internships/research ops are very limited in the Triangle, and I dont think clubs/community work will cut it. I also want to travel, do high-level negotiation/work, and I feel UNC prepares people for sedentary (yet successful) lifestyles. I'll probably go into business here.

Duke - I see it as UNC 2.0. Same issues, except for that Duke has a much better reputation...but is giving me NO MONEY. I also feel a humanities degree from Duke (undergrad business program seemed wattered down) will be difficult to use for jobs, esp. in this economy. And I dont plan on becoming a professor

Georgetown - it almost fits me perfectly. I'm into history/culture/international affairs, and I got into the SFS. But again, I get no money, and I feel like if I want to change my career path (I like international affairs, but whether I can get into it as a lifestyle is a different issue). I also feel that it's quite catholic, and I dont really want that to influence my education (I mean, objectively yes, but infusing it in class discussion - very hard to stand).

As a note, location isn't a huge factor (except Georgetown, where it obviously benefits my field), and Ive been told cost is not an issue (but I still may not want to bust the bank). Ive been told education is the best investment possible, but does this hold up when the cheaper option is so good?

Thanks in advance.

If cost is not an issue at all, Duke or SFS obviously.

well, it’s not huge, but I do feel guilty - its not like my family is loaded, paying it off will be difficult. My parents have made that clear enough (but explicitly support best ed I can get).

My first choice would be UNC. Followed by UNC. Followed by UNC.

You’re worried about internship opportunities but the best of opportunities are relegated at any one of these schools to your SUMMERS. Work hard, produce the grades, and apply for summer internships across the country (or globe).
Supplement this with travel abroad experience in the school year.
And bank the ??? $200k ???

Save your money and enjoy Chapel Hill for 4 years. No undergraduate degree is worth 200K unless you come from a loaded family, especially when the other alternative is a good school like UNC. I went to Duke so if I’m telling you that, then you know what the right decision is here.

You are in an envious position - this should be a no brainer, you take the full scholarship at UNC, get your undergrad there, perform well and maintain a high GPA and end up applying to Georgetown for their Graduate school for their Masters. Not only will you save 200 thousand dollars, you also experience two different colleges, establishing double the connections and people you know

Go to UNC and take as many classes as you can at Duke. 200K is RIDICULOUS save your $ problem solved.

UNC is certainly the more wise choice in this case.
