Did anyone else from the Midwest get accepted? Just curious
I posted them above, but I applied as a Political Science major with these stats:
In-State, Top 7% of class, Orange County Public School, No test scores, 45 college credits, 4.0UW/4.5W GPA.
Lots of volunteer work with local political organizations (including UNC affiliated groups), solid essays, recommendation from UNC Young Dems President.

D21 was accepted OOS. She is grateful but was kind of disappointed that she did not get accepted into the Honors college. Any idea when the Merit awards are announced?
Accepted OOS. Im guessing if theres nothing about Pogue Scholars or Carolina Innovation Scholars that I am not considered right?
Yes! We are in Cincinnati!
Son accepted to Honors College with full Pogue Scholarship.
For those accepted to honors, I’m trying to fill out the goanywhere profile - for educational background, do we write the major/degree we are intending to get?
Any info on when aid will be available? I have dual enrollment credits that will help but I need a bag for that OOS tuition.
Yes- she had 17
My son did. We’re in Cleveland, Ohio.
My daughter was accepted, where do you find out if they got into honors program or business assured program?
Accepted! Biology Major!!
looks that way
accepted OOS. If there is no information on the letter about major or school within unc, can we assume that we got accepted into our first choice?
Same here, surprised about no honors. However, from what I’ve read, anyone can take honors courses regardless of the honors college . Additionally, you can apply for the honors college again in your freshman and also sophomore year. But seriously, I don’t think there is any advantage whatsoever of being in it, especially the fact that they don’t even get priority registration and anyone can take honors courses regardless!
anyone hear anything about honors?
My honors offer was in my portal under decisions.
