<p>For everyone that's applied so far, what essays did you do? I'm just curious. For my short essay, I compared myself to Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter. And for my long essay, I wrote about how I had no talent for sports.</p>
<p>For my short essay I wrote about tutoring math students. For my long essay I chose the last option and chose to do UChicago’s “how did you get caught” essay, on a personal hardship that I have overcome.</p>
<p>I wrote about the mental aspect of a cross-country race for the short essay (topic of your choice), and then for the long essay I wrote about not being able to ride a bike (the one about trying something for which you have no talent)</p>
<p>for my short essay, i did the prompt about what topic i would study for a semester as a student at carolina. for my long essay, i chose the last option and wrote about a significant experience. in addition, i did the supplemental essay.</p>
<p>For my long essay, I chose the “no talent” prompt and wrote about working at Pump it Up (inflatable party zone, filled with moon bounces). For my short essay, I chose the last option and used my UChicago supplement Essay on Scrabble (the games prompt).</p>
