I think I applied to UNC
on Dec 1-10.
I sent all my scores, SSR, teacher evaluation, etc.
but on My UNC, it says they received nothing.
They downloaded everything from Common App
and my school checked that they downloaded everything.
Is it the update problem?
Does anyone has the same problem as I do?
If not, I will have to call them sometime
this week, for Jan. 15th coming...

UNC does not use CommonApp. How did you apply? UNC has its own application on its website.

oops I made a mistake sorry…
I applied through its own application.
thanks

It took several weeks last year for everything to show up … fyi. The admissions blog on the UNC website is a good place to ask questions and monitor what’s going on in admissions.

i would call the admissions office ASAP because if you applied early action we find out within the next two weeks! it took a while for all the items on my unc to do list to show up as accepted, but they eventually did. call to double check!!!

good luck :)

At this time of the year, it’s taking forever to process anything. I applied early action and they lost my counselor statement twice, and I finally just got it in (a week and a half before decisions come out!). But you have plenty of time. I would say wait until after January 21st if you’re planning on emailing or calling, because until decisions come out and probably for a few days after, they’re swamped and will just tell you that it takes a while to process everything (from personal experience).

But if things aren’t processed by the end of the month, DEFINITELY start calling. With the record number of applications this year, things are bound to get lost. And if things like your transcript and counselor statement get lost, meet with your counselor and ask them to call UNC with you. My counselor was a huge help when UNC was not being helpful to me.
