Well your GPA is a little below their average, but your ACT score is spectacular so that may balance out. Your ECs are also very good so if you get good recs and write a fantastic essay Id say it’s a high match.

Carnegie Mellon - reach

My thread (chance pls.): http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke.html#latest

Thanks!!! BUUUUUUMPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

I agree it is a high match for UNC. High ACT is helpful. Also good that your grades are on an upward trajectory.

Thanks guys…Any other people? feel free to leave comments/chances!

I would say Carnegie Mellon is a high reach, your ACT is good but they are a very hard school and your UW GPAis pretty bad (especially if its on a true 7 point scale).
I don’t know about in state, but I would say out of state, UNC would be low reach, so maybe high match in state?

thanks! Bump one last time
