UNC or NC State?

Just be glad you live in North Carolina, where there are state schools worthy arguing about, haha

Here’s one plus on the UNC side since you stated that you hope to start your own business. Their B school has a concentration available in entrepreneurial studies.

I have a BS in accounting and own a small business. But, I worked many years in the corporate world too. I also volunteer as a national SCORE counselor to other small businesses.

I can say from experience that running a small business is an entirely different ballgame than running a medium to large corporation. Small businesses have an entirely different set of challenges than large corporations.

State may have a similar program but if not, Carolina has the education that you need. Learning in college how to run a small business will most definitely help you to hit the ground running. Plus, the contacts you will establish will help you greatly in the years to come.

Hey guys, accepted admission at Carolina, I just dont think I should pass up an opportunity at Kenan-Flagler

Congrats, thanks for the update! If you have any questions about anything, don’t hesitate to let me know.
