UNC Out of state vs. Northwestern admission?

<p>UNC out of state is supposedly harder than some ivies…Northwestern is probably harder in general, UNC is probably harder for out of state students.</p>

<p>i think that northwestern attracts marginally more competitive students, but has a higher admit % for students than UNC out of state. Northwestern admitted 25 % last year, while UNC OOS admissions (for early only) this year was 22%. I would say theyre about equal (but would possibly give Northwestern that slight edge?)</p>
