<p>Hey there. I will be going to UNC in the fall as a freshman, and I wanted to know if there is any international traveling I could do the summer before I attend. (Preferably on UNC's tab?) I know that Maryland has a similar program. Does anyone know of any study abroad programs for rising freshman?</p>
<p>Nicolenhs, There are study abroad programs for freshmen, however; they have already contacted the very few that are given this opportunity on UNC’s tab. There is another thread on the University of North Carolina -Chapel Hill page called “UNC Chapel Hill Special Opportunities - Your reply needed” that has many comments posted about the programs for freshmen.
