I'm a sophomore Biology major at University of Delaware. I did well in high school (salutatorian of a class around 350), but in college I've been pretty mediocre. I only have a 3.3 GPA (this semester was 3.6 so I'm improving), but I've been involved in research all year (25 hours/week), so I could probably get a good letter of rec about that. Should I even bother to apply? The only other thing I can think that would maybe make up for my crappy GPA is that I went to the International Science Fair my senior year.

don't worry, you have decent chances
