Does anyone know how competitive kenan Flagler is?
Are interviews only for junior applicants to KF or do sophomore applicants get interviews as well?
From what I know - only KF
I’m applying to KF as an OOS 4 year student. Chance me?

3.0 HS GPA

Decent Interview (only used 3/6 min though)
Also applying: UVA, Boston College, Boston U, Northeastern, UMN, Villanova, and SMU
@ppatel9346 You seem like you have a decent shot. Are you applying as a sophomore or junior? Also, UNC heavily favors in-state and I believe that applies to transfers also so not sure how much being OOS will affect your decision. Good luck and hopefully we hear by the end of the week/early next week!
@mkmk29 I believe anyone applying directly into the business school has to do an interview. If you’re a junior and are definitely a business major you can only apply into KF (unless you want to major in Econ). If you’re a sophomore and don’t get into the business school they may accept you for the College of Arts and Sciences and then you can apply your junior year into KF
@Lfriel I’ll be applying as a junior. Sophomores aren’t permitted to apply directly to KF. BTW I called admissions about a week ago and they told me those who applied earlier will get a decision around mid-April and those who applied later will get a decision in May. This is due to the virus outbreak and the campus closings that are going on at UNC right now. Good luck to you too!
@heyigotnoclue I saw your chance me and I think you’ve got a good shot. OOS will definitely hurt but you’ve got good hooks to counteract that.
You mentioned that you “got an interview.” You seem to be implying that only some KF applicants receive interviews. It seems to me like it’s a requirement for all KF applicants.
I don’t think I applied early enough for them, I can’t wait until May. Another month of worrying and anxiety, I simply can’t
@Bettane123 try to relax. I’m sure we’ve all done our best. Nothing left to do now but wait and see. And you might still hear back in April.
@ppatel9346 does earlier mean applications submitted by the original 02/15 deadline or did admissions give a specific cut off date for mid April decisions?
Just speculating here but I would assume May decisions would be for those who had some of their materials come in late, such as transcripts or test scores.
Almost had a mini heart attack here as I thought the people who submitted their application right before the February deadline would not hear until May. Phew! Good luck everyone!
@ppatel9346 - thanks for ur encouragement and im not sure if everyone gets an interview. but i do know that most people applying to KF do…
im a bit ill rn so it’s scary  tbh - college admissions arent on my mind right now
oh no I hope you feel better!
does anyone know how to see if UNC has reviewed/downloaded your application? i remember seeing something about it on 2019’s thread but can’t find it now
Hey guys. So the fall 2020 transfer decisions came out last year on Friday, April 8th. Do y’all think it will come on Friday, April 10th or get pushed back bc of the coronavirus?
@eddy504 you mean the 2019 decisions? April 8th was a Monday btw
