ive lowkey come to terms with being okay with not getting in. Maybe like a week ago i felt like i was gonna be super upset, but now like it is what it is.

Yeah, I think I’d prefer a straight rejection over the sense of false hope that comes with being waitlisted

Hi, I also came from China. Similar to your situation, I got an offer from Umich with a deposit deadline of May 1. UNC is one of the few schools that release decision before May.
I’ve put all my eggs in this basket lol, there’s no going back now. I would be devastated with a waitlist
