unc...transfer

hey guys, im currently in UF..warrington business school and i have a gpa pf 3.77 and am in the honors program and did my IB in a UWC and sat scores of abt 1910 sat 1 (im an international student...so my verbal scores werent great and my writing as well) and sat 2 of about 1480/1600 in math 2c and physics...anyways i want to transfer to UNC chapel hill...kenan flager business school...how tough is it gonna be and what are my chances at perhaps bschool in umich, uva, georgetown

UMICH= 3% transfer rate. Sad.

GW = 30% transfer rate

UVA = not too sure.

It's tough, regardless. I mean...you're going to be going up against me. I turned down Harvard, Standford, Yale, and Princeton to go to a CC.

Then again, I didn't apply.

ROFL~!

Anyways, it's worth giving a shot. UNC is sill stupid regarding out of residence transfers, but not too strict on international. It's sort of weird, but it's worth a shot. I'm guessing you took your TOEFL? Or whatever it is. If its up to par, it shouldn't be too bad.

UNC doesn't give preference to North Carolina residences when applying for transfer. They're transfer rate is about 40% according to college board but thats the whole university. Their business school is significantly harder to get into than their College of Arts and Sciences.

im trying so hard to get out of UF...this place puts me at an incredible disadvantage with recruiters...it really does suck BAD...
