<p>ok, I say you have a really good shot, but you don't really have a hook, and competition is pretty darn fierce for out-of-state</p>

<p>Ok EC, schedule isn't as rigorous, but you're still competitive academically, better than average SAT.</p>

<p>It won't be a breeze, but you if you get good recommendations, UNC-Ch shouldn't be too hard to get into.</p>

<p>I predict a reject. Seriously. I hope you get in, but UNC out of state is on par with with HYP. It has a 12% admit rate. I don't think that it will be happening. I know lots of people with 1500s rejected, and plenty of people end up getting into ivies and not UNC</p>

<p>i disagree, while it has a low acceptance rate, the students who apply to hyp are not the same who apply to unc-ch, they're not in direct competition with each other most of the time</p>
