unc v. bc v. ucla

I am looking for a solid Pre-Law/liberal arts/Political Science curriculum. Which of these colleges that I was accepted to would suit my academic interests the best and provide a good overall experience? A sort of ranking of the Political Science prestige of each of these would help!

Boston College
UCLA
USC
UNC-Chapel Hill
NYU
Wake Forest
Bucknell

anyone? bump

Hmm I'll give my analysis:

BC - It's cold. I don't like cold. Most people I know that go there like it though.
UCLA - Great school, great programs.
USC - I don't know much about it honestly.
UNC - Poli Sci is one of the most popular majors. I'm in a poli sci class now and my professor has helped write various constitutions including Afghanistan's. So yeah, there are some quality poli professors here.
NYU - I'd only recommend it if you are really a city person.
Wake Forest - My friend is a Poli Sci major there and says it's hard but she likes it. The social life revolves around Greek life so if you're into that, it's cool.
Bucknell - My friend is there now and likes it. She says sometimes it feels too small for her though.

You should be able to get a good liberal arts education at any of the schools you mention. Given the wide variety in the schools you have named, the more important question would appear to be what you looking for in in a school.

I am not sure you meant to say you were looking for a pre-law curriculum. However, if you were I would caution you to stay away from any program labeled "pre-law". Such programs are not held in high regard by law schools. For law school it is not particularly important what you major in. Whatever your major, it is important that you develop skills in critical reading and analytical writing.

I can't remember the size of UCLA, but that'd be worth considering. I'd put UCLA and UNC close together, then it gets down to your personal preferences/costs. All of those are great schools, but if it were up to me that's what I'd be thinking about. The others just don't fit me personally, I guess. There's no way that this could help.

If the size of the school concerns you, then I would go with Wake or BC both extremely good for political science, and have much more of a liberal arts feel. UNC and UCLA are HUGE!!!
