UNC vs NCSU vs GATech vs Alabama

There is little to no difference between computer science degrees at different colleges. If you can code, you get hired. Check out the various job listing websites and career sections of every large company in every industry. There are so many computer and software job listings, there just aren’t enough candidates to fill them. If you’re good, you will have more opportunities than you can handle from any of these schools.

Go to UNC. You’re blessed with a plethora of superb in-state choices in North Carolina, I have zero idea as to why you would ever choose UA over UNC (5-star elite), and I’m especially puzzled as to why you just eliminated NC State (4.5 stars), which I would also recommend in a heartbeat over Bama (3.5 stars, rising school but not nearly on the level of the other two)…

UNC is the best choice for you. Followed by NCSU.

I’d go with UNC if your family can comfortably afford it.

Will Bama let you bring around 60 credits and still keep the merit award?

I would research the outcomes of your top few choices and then make a solid choice.

Where do you want to go for your MBA?

@Rdtsmith Did your S get into MIT? It must have been hard to pass on MIT ! ! ! !

DS said no undergraduate education is worth a quarter of a million dollars…so thank God he came upon that conclusion himself.

^^ @Rdtsmith Amen to that!
