I'm trying to decide between North Carolina and South Carolina. I'm out of state for both, but I have a scholarship to USC that makes my tuition 8k a year. So financially I'm much better off and could almost graduate debt free from USC.

I plan to major in business, and if I go to USC I would likely go into the Internation Business major because of it's strength, though I know the overall business rank is better at UNC.

Should I give any thought to the fact I have a couple good friends attending UNC but know no one going to USC? I'm sure I could meet people but a stable base would be nice.

There are lures to both feature-wise but I do enjoy the campus at UNC a little more because of its college-town atmosphere.

If anyone could help give me some input it would be greatly appreciated!
