From what I've seen unc and uva seem like the same school. is there anything that really seperates them other than location?

Selectivity, it seems it is much harder for average in-staters to get into UVA than it is for average in-staters to get into UNC-CH. If you are OOS for both, I agree, they seem similar.

From what I've seen, UVA relies much more on greek life than UNC does.

ok thats really helpful. thanks! anything else a/b the social/campus life?

You might go to www.studentsreview.com and read the comments for each school. You would get a variety of opinions that way.

Also go to the bookstore and read the pertinent sections in a few "what these colleges are really like" books.

I don't think UNC has engineering. Otherwise, yes pretty close.

No engineering at Carolina; that's what State's for.

oh. okay thanks for all the help. ill use that link to look at uva b/c im frm nc and pretty much know all a/b unc. thanks again to everyone!
