Go Cavs! It's on either ESPN or ESPN2 right now, just a little fyi ;)

ohh, so close :/

that was such a good game! i was expecting unc to dominate but uva really stepped it up! i wish they won!

that was sick. I saw this post and it kinda got me thinking about the two schools. I am into UNC and hope to get into UVA. (God willing) that will lead to a tought decision. Any input on one over the other.

they're both fine schools.

lstarr: lol, after i put up the thread, i was like "crap, someone's gonna think i'm trying to decide which of those two schools to attend!"

sorry for the confusion, there are multiple threads on here comparing those schools if you type it in the search bar. good luck!

I have one child currently at UVA and another recently at UNC. They are both great schools academically and socially with exciting athletics to boot. They both have beautiful campuses and a diverse student body. I think UNC has a more suburban atmosphere, while UVA has more of a small city feel. UVA definitely has more of a Greek emphasis; and to me , as a New Englander, more of a Southern feel. You might want to spend a weekend at each to see what feels like a better fit to you. You are lucky to be considering both!!

mamacass, just curious, will you please define "Southern" from your point of view?
