UNC vs Wake Forest

Hi guys. I’m trying to decide between Wake Forest and UNC, and I’m having a pretty difficult time. I like UNC’s atmosphere more, but Wake Forest gave me better financial aid (at UNC, I would have to pay 15,000 a year - at Wake, I would have to pay 10,000). I want to major in psychology and do the pre-med track with hopes of becoming a psychiatrist. I’m thinking of basing my decision on what would be better for me to achieve those goals, so I need some input.

Wake Forest only offers a BA in psych. UNC offers both a BS and a BA. Will med schools look down on me if I only get a BA?

UNC offers more psychology course options, but their class sizes are larger than Wake’s. Where am I going to get a better psychology ed?

Which has a better pre-med program?

Are there opportunities to complete an internship or volunteer at Wake’s hospital? I know those opportunities exist at UNC?

Which has better internship and research ops? I’m assuming UNC because of the location, but some input would be nice.

And lastly, what are the environments of the 2 schools like? Sorry for the super long post. Thanks for reading!
