<p>you'd better really show them that those two Fs were a fluke and that they will not happen again. they aren't going to want that kind of performance at UNC, but they might forgive them if you really work to explain them and possibly clear them up by getting credit elsewhere (summer school).</p>

<p>A 5 on the AP exam <em>should</em> make up for the grade, especially if you have an explanation. However, I can't say with certainty that it will.</p>
