UNCC vs NCSU for Accounting?

Hi,

I live in Charlotte, NC and I have to choose between UNCC and NCSU.
I'm majoring in accounting and my goal is to get into one of big 4 accounting firms in Charlotte.
I hear good things about UNCC since they got great networking with Charlotte and a lot of students get an internship or full time offer from big 4 accounting firms, BoA, Duke energy, Wells Fargo, Tiaa-Cref etc.

I haven't researched for NCSU yet.

Can anyone tell me which school has better accounting program please?

Thank you.

Me too! Some body please respond!

Hey, I got accepted into both UNCC and NCSU. Both schools offer their student internship oppertunities. There is a program at UNCC where you can get a paid internship into Bank of A your junior and senior year. In the end I chose UNCC because I wanted to save money

Thank you that helped a lot. Also did you receive any scholarships from either of the two,

At NCSU you can get a Masters in Accounting by adding on just one extra year of school (5 years instead of 4).
I would say the overall “college experience” is much better at NCSU. NCSU also has an overall better reputation than UNCC esp. outside of the Charlotte/Metro area.

I have a feeling that every school in the UNC system has 5 year master programs. I have been researching around and UNC, NC State, and Charlotte have 5 year masters in almost every major I have looked in.

Are y’all both from nc?

Yes. I am a lifelong NC resident.

Well that’s good you show know some things about all the nc colleges. Who has the best business program?

Here is some info I found on all of the business programs in NC… It looks like it goes Duke, UNC-CH, Wake Forest, NC State (#81 overall) then UNC Charlotte (#108 overall)
