UPenn
Georgetown
GWU
American
Gettysburg College

Anywhere else you think I should look at...

Thanks!

UPenn- Maybe you will be waitlisted. Most likely denied
Georgetown- Probably
GWU- Accepted
American- Accepted
Gettsysburg- Accepted

Thanks pml, I'm bumping for a few more opinions, be they simple statements like "Ditto to pml" or something more detailed.

upenn is possible for you. but take a lot more standardized tests and make sure you do a lot of music-oriented stuff because that is what your ec's are mostly made up of. and raise your sat score. but overall maybe a 50% chance you'll get accepted to upenn. GOOD LUCK!!

With the exception of UPenn, you are very competitive for all the schools you listed, Georgetown included. And with UPenn, you should have a shot. You might get some more responses to your thread if you could say what you want to pursue in college, then readers might have more suggestions for colleges. Good luck, alex.

I have no idea of your chances, but your resume is similar in many ways to my daughter's. She is a "conservative", too, and some of the colleges she likes, based on our visits and research so far, that may be potential matches for you: Princeton, Notre Dame, U Chicago, Wheaton (Illinois), Davidson, Hillsdale, Vanderbilt. If you are thinking of majoring in history, Hillsdale was very impressive.

You should add some more match schools, though I agree with pml's assessment.
What is your intended major?
I think that UCLA, UMichigan, and UVa would all be public matches, and for private schools you might check out Boston College, USC, etc.

Penn will probably not happen without higher scores, Georgetown is a reach and I think you'll get into the others.
