My son auditioned at the Unifieds in Chicago the beginning of February and received his UNCSA acceptance via snail mail on Saturday, March 10th… He is very excited. Best of luck!

I emailed Bill Poole a couple days ago. He told me they are still sending out letters, are sending out another load next week, and will be sending them out until 3/28. I auditioned the last audition day, February 19th on campus and I have yet to hear anything.

Patsboy911- same situation here. Congrats @scout094 to your son and you. :)

@scout094 did your son get any notification of acceptance or possible acceptance previous to his snail mail letter?

No. Apparently he only received a thin envelope with a short acceptance message. I haven’t seen it since he attends an arts boarding school down in Southern California (Idyllwild Arts Academy). And while it was brief and to the point, I’ve been impressed with their follow up. Yesterday he received a warm “recruiting” email from an alum of theirs who also attended the same boarding school 12 years ago. We’re off to visit the campus next week to check it out.

And thanks so much for the congrats! He’s very excited. It’s been a crazy wait! Fingers crossed for you guys!

I auditioned for UNCSA at the NYC unifieds, and i still haven’t heard anything…I’m guessing that it is a wait list situation. Anyone have wisdom to offer?

Thanks so much for the info! Sounds like your Son has a great 4 years ahead of him. :)

D is in the same spot, waitwaitwait-- I’d guess waitlist too but…we just a guess of course. Congratulations to Scout094! It’s such a great program!

I auditioned the last day Feb 19th, so I don’t think any of the decisions from that day have been sent out yet…since it is rolling apparently. Would this be a correct or fair assumption?

Do check your E-Z Arts it may say decision call admissions !

I don’t recall setting up an E-Z arts account…how do you get your Id and pin?

You should have gotten an e-mail with the info.

Hmm, I never got that email. …(if you mind me asking) what did Bill Poole say to you when you called?

Wait for a letter.

ahaha splendid. I have been rejected to all except BU and UNCSA…both of which i haven’t heard from. Woot college! Oy vay.

Typecast --

I have been away from my mailbox for the past week on spring break… I checked my ez arts account and it said: decision call admissions, like you said. What does that mean?

I know of another person who got this message she called they said a letter is going out next week that’s it!

We already know they take more boys than girls - does anyone know what % has to be in state? Very curious.

My college stories are great last year I auditioned for 6 M.T. Programs got into 2 for Acting one a large university with a small theatre BFA program one a well known conservatory that somehow ended up with only 5 actors anyway none of the schools felt right took a gap year. Decided to try 9 Acting programs this year and every program that you had do sing the16bar song said oh you should be doing Musical theatre, great thank you very much. So as of now I have been accepted to Lipa on the spot yea but it is England, got a callback for a great program but, didn’t get in. Wait listed for M.T. And Acting at the same school.I’ve done so many M.T.'S I do not think the straight acting programs take me seriously so even though I felt more prepared this year and auditioned better I am not doing as well as I did last year. Oh well live and learn!

I believe in state is sixteen leavin ten spots out of state?
