Just wanted to say for those that auditioned this year that I got a call yesterday from UNCSA and they said that the official packets will be sent around the first week of March.
I auditioned in NY and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m kind of freaking out.
I think they said early to mid-march decisions would be sent out – can’t remember exactly.
any news?
if we haven’t heard anything should we assume its a no?
@lgr915 , At the meeting before my S’s audition last weekend, they said offers will be going out March 1 (some before). They still have auditions this weekend on campus as well. If he doesn’t hear by end of March, then he will call. Best wishes to you!
It is still very early for UNCSA decisions. If you read our story back through this thread, my D did not receive her rejection letter until March 23rd. It turns out she was in the last batch of letters. But in hindsight I think that meant she was still in contention until the very end, because of course she was ultimately a late acceptance in July and is now a very happy UNCSA PICKLE. Good luck all!
So @dramamom0804, do you think your D got @connections S UNCSA spot when he was offered a place at LAMDA?
^^No, I don’t think so, 2019theatremom. And in general, I don’t think it’s ever possible to know, and anyway, what is the point? dramamom0804’s daughter is a proud Pickle and is absolutely loving it and that’s all that matters. UNCSA is a wonderful school, not just with rigorous training but also very warm and caring.
As to rejections/acceptances, as dramamom0804 says, it’s too early to worry just yet. They didn’t let folks know last year until March or later. Best of luck to al.
Current UNCSA High School Drama students have been told decisions will come out after Spring Break. Classes resume March 16th.
