Can everyone access ‘current students’ links? I entered ‘Current Students’ Student Services as well as Parent of a Current Student…

Son’s only offers the Financial Aid tab, goes over the costs, FAFSA EFC and that’s it. No other tabs to click on. Son auditioned in Chicago, so one of the last auditions. I’m guessing they are working through decisions chronologically?

My S’s says nothing different at all. My S auditioned at the first audition, so no, they’re not working through it chronologically.

And hopenest, that sounds really hopeful. I think you should contact them!

if it says “contact admissions” then I’d call them!

Update - Nothing exciting, but I realized there are two log-in links bookmarked. One takes son to the page with the financial aid info, the other takes son to the application summary. So if I understand correctly, hopenest is seeing a “decision” line on the application summary? Nothing new on son’s application summary.

My status just changed to “Please Contact Admissions Office”

I’m gonna call on Monday.

Fingers crossed for you Josh!!!

Mine also just changed to, “Please Contact Admissions Office”. I really hope this means good news, it’s one of my favorite schools. Like josh i’m going to call on Monday

I got rejected. Not surprised, my audition didn’t go well.

Oh! They also said “Please Contact Admissions Office” is a system error and don’t worry about it… they told me this before I knew I was rejected so I’m guessing this is a nicer way of saying ‘rejected’ but who knows, good luck!

hopenest - so sorry!

It’s alright! I’m not disappointed in the slightest, it wasn’t the right fit and I knew it the moment I walked into the room.

I’m just hoping the schools I did feel a connection with work out in my favor :)

Hopenest, your wonderful outlook about this and attitude is going to serve you so well when your out there working professionally. Your wise beyond your years!

I"m sorry @hopenest! I’m sure you will get into a program that you will love. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you find out your status? Did you call and they told you or did something change on your status page?

I have a feeling you will go far, hopenest :)

I called. Thank you @entertainersmom and @shacherry after doing this for a second time I truly believe everyone ends up where they are meant to be and that everything works out in the end. I also realized how much of a crapshoot this process is and it all comes down to fate. Fate in the business is auditioning at the right moment for the right people, who knows what would’ve happened if I auditioned at some of these schools on a different day for different people! I’m just thankful fate was on my side when I needed it the most.

It was just a systematic error. They didn’t give me an admissions decision.

I left a message on Bill Pool’s machine but I haven’t heard back yet. I assume they will tell me the same or it might be about the mandatory form which my school guidance councilor told me not to send because my school has their own version. I emailed the form to them this past weekend when I saw the notice.

I didn’t send that form in either, but admissions said (before I was notified of the rejection) that if I was accepted they would contact me directly by email/phone to send in missing documents.
