<p>Has anyone heard anything yet about the honors program? From reading old posts, it sounds a but like they wait until regular admissions to make decisions, but a letter my daughter received made it sound more like a rolling process. Just wondering if there has been any activity yet this year?</p>
<p>My D was admitted to UNCW in December. Yesterday, she received a letter and application asking her to apply to the Honors College. The letter states that they review and accept students on a rolling basis as space permits through mid April.</p>
<p>I was also admitted to UNCW and applied to the honors program in early January. Hope to hear back soon to make a final decision!</p>

<p>We’re in Michigan… At this point, my daughter has decided to attend another school so it really is a moot point, but I really loved the Honors College at UNCW.</p>
<p>If you don’t mind me asking, what school did she choose?</p>
<p>Eckerd College in Florida - smaller, with a great Marine Bio program that she can start as a freshman. They gave her a great scholarship, though she didn’t make the rather high cut-off for honors there either. I think it will be a good fit. Good luck with decisions in your house, too!</p>
<p>Wonderful choice! My D also was accepted to Eckerd with a great scholarship but is still waiting to hear from a few schools before making her decision. Best of luck to your daughter!
