UND for aerospace engineering

Is UND a good option for this? Would OU be just as good?

UND is University of North Dakota for those who don’t know.

Why not Univ. of Michigan…it is fantastic for all Engineering disciplines! My son is CEE, but his roomate is Aerospace Eng.

Totally irrelevant.

I honestly have never heard a thing about the aerospace engineering (or engineering in general) at North Dakota. I think I had a TA from there when I was at UIUC for undergrad, so it seems they are decent enough to get at least one student into a top graduate school. That is about all I can say though.

OU (assuming you mean Oklahoma) is not known as an engineering powerhouse, but it is alright. It certainly isn’t going to leave you without any hopes of a job or anything crazy like that.

Oklahoma U is ABET accredited. It looks like UND is not.

Looks like in steering clear of UND. It has a very strong aviation program that’s why I was considering it. I’d love to go to grad school at MIT or Georgia Tech, though if I get the money from someone I may be able to do undergrad at tech if they accept me as an oos transfer. Thanks for the replies.

UND is a big-time school for aviation, but not for engineering.

What is “aviation” then?

Aviation is hopping in the cockpit and flying a plane.
