I'm a girl from Georgia, and have been accepted to UNC, UGA honors, and Georgia Tech (with the Grand Challenge program). I really like UNC the best of the three, but it costs $40,000 where as the other two are more like $10,000 per year. I am undecided for a major, though I am thinking towards the biology track with the possibility of going to vet school. I have been a dedicated student (4.0 at difficult private school and lots of APs), but in college I want to have a balanced academic/social life. I have a couple weeks to make the decision, and I have no clue what to do. Any advice??

I love UNC but it’s not worth 30k more (120k over four years). I’m not sure many universities justify that cost difference. That is an enormous sum of money. Costs equal I’d take UNC but that’s not the case. I’d go with GT if they are strong in what you want. If not, UGA honors sounds like a solid choice.
