What you should do is apply to the bschool, and put A&S as your second choice.
They will give you an alternate offer if you're good enough for A&S but not Whitman, and you can transfer very easily once you're here. It is much easier to transfer within SU than from another institution to SU. You won't be behind in your classes, you'll be fine. We cannot stress this enough, all the reps say it. </p>
