if i am undecided about my major, which school in UPenn do i apply to? what if i change my major later on?

The College.

depends what you want to study. the college is a good idea unless you are more engineering oriented, as engineering has a slightly higher acceptance rate and you can apply undecided there too.

Most people apply to the College because there are a much more wide range of majors available. But you can also easily transfer (as long as your grades are good) between schools (Wharton, however, is much much harder to get into)

the college because you’ll have more opportunities to explore. wharton is if u know u wanna do business and nursing if u want to do nursing and engineering if u want 2 be an engineer.

it’s not that bad to switch btwn any of the school if u decide u don’t belong in the college- u need a 3.4 to get into wharton and of course it would be great for it to be higher, but if u have a reason that it’s not, u can explain.

basically, penn’s pretty awesome cuz of the 1 university policy that will allow u access to all 12 schools. so do the college and it’ll be just fineeee

I thought it was 3.7-3.8

nope that’s only recommended to be competitive but if u do a crapload of other stuff you’d be okkkk

Wharton would have no idea if you cured cancer your first year of undergrad. They do it by going from the highest GPA down the list till they fill all the spots they have open.

If I remember right, on the transfer application, it doesn’t ask for EC’s if you didn’t know that

well i’m going to wharton next year, so i haven’t looked at the transfer app, but the point is, if you’re really not sure what path you want to take, i would apply to the college, do well, and then if u change your mind, transfer. hope that helps

College is probably by far the most common place for undecided applicants (so you won’t be the only one). And that applies to all school, not just UPenn.
