Undeclared Engineering

I am an international applicant and got rejected at ucb
i have good stats and i think it was because of the major i applied to : undeclared
so does anyone know how many seats are reserved for undeclared. also which was the most difficult major to get into this year??was it more difficult than eecs.??

People say that Engineering Undeclared is one of the most competitive majors because that major allows you to declare any engineering major within the College of Engineering, including EECS. I don't think there is a certain number of spots available for Eng. Und. set in stone. I would think that it varies as a percentage of the number of people who apply. Don't quote me on that, though.

i got into eng. undeclared...

undeclared engineering is usually the hardest engineering major to get into, along with bioE and MSE. the difficulty of eecs is actually pretty overblown, especially since interest in the major is waning and so there are fewer applicants.

darklordmoo
can u please post ur stats

any intels into undeclared???

I'm also Engineering-Undeclared. My stats are 4.7 GPA(weighted), 2250 SATI, 1600 SATII (Math2/Physics), 34 ACT (If that makes a difference)

Honestly guys, admissions everywhere was a crapshoot: MIT + Caltech denied me, and I'm waitlisted at Harvey Mudd. You'll find happiness no matter where you go if you keep an open mind!

Dude, c'mon, you're an international applicant. You are competing with people who have gold medals in International Math Olympiad or something.......
