if i decide to go undeclared instead of something like engineering, then what kinds of courses do i take. And is it harder to transfer i you want to go at your sophomore year? Can you give me some advice? I want to know how this process works.

if you go undeclared, it is really really hard to switch into engineering. but if you go engineering, its easy to switch into undeclared (or any other L&S major). You can take any course you want, whenever you want, as long as you meet prerequisites. Im guessing you would take GE's for your specific college (L&S or Engineering) and premajor requisites throughout your freshmen/sophomore years.

If you have no desire to go with a major outside of Letters and Science (i.e. engineering and theater) then it's fine. Otherwise, you really really out to go straight to engineering.
