I was so excited to learn that I was accepted (though no scholarships)!
But then I found that I was accepted into the Undeclared-Social Science major…
well, I remember that I chose the undeclared major … Then what does this Social Science mean? Will this influence me when I want to declare my major?

All replies are highly appreciated!!

And wish everyone here no matter got in or not, ALL THE BEST!

oooh… well… I review my application data… And … well…It’s my own fault … I chose the major undeclared-social science, and the alternative major economics.
Anyone have any idea how and when can I change my major ?

You can change/declare your major once you’ve complete one quarter at UC Davis. Your undeclared area really doesn’t affect you at all. You can switch into any major as long as you have the prerequisites and the GPA requirement (most have no requirements whatsoever, actually.)

To change your major, you’ll have to fill out a form and have your new major advisor and your old major advisor (you won’t have one if you’re undeclared) sign it. If you’re changing colleges, you’ll also need a signature from your old and new college. It’s a pretty easy process, just tedious getting around campus to the different offices.
