I got admitted to all these schools; however, not for my major. I really want to go to UCSB but I know it's the toughest out of the three to transfer into for engineering. Does anyone know the process and how hard it really is to transfer into engineering major at UCSB? I am leaning towards going to Irvine because the engineering program is easier to transfer into as an undeclared major than UCSB. In addition, I was awarded the Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship, so it would be financially better to go to Irvine. Can anybody share their knowledge with UCI engineering? I have considered UCSC because I got my intended major instead of going through 2 years of uncertainty, but I do not want to go that far from LA. Furthermore, I am uncertain about how strong their engineering program is. Has anyone done engineering at UCSC and would like to share their experience?
