<p>Hey everyone, I have a question for any McGill students that have attended in the past few years. </p>
<p>I'm heading off to McGill in the fall and I'm really excited. However, for frosh I will not be 18 years old. I've been told that that means I won't be allowed to drink, go on pub crawls, or enter clubs, which makes the $50+ payment for even one frosh seem rather pointless. How lenient are the frosh organizers when it comes to underage drinking?
If there are strict rules against it, I was thinking of borrowing the McGill ID of someone who looks like me and is of age when I apply for frosh in order to get an 18 bracelet and I was wondering if that would even work?
Also, if that doesn't work, will the bouncers to the clubs and bars let you in if you have an underage bracelet, but you have a (fake) ID that says you are 18.
I figure since I'll only have one frosh week, I might as well be able to enjoy every single event.</p>
