I know this has been discussed quite a bit, but here it goes. I’m a senior in high school and I’m done with college apps (finished In November). I applied to a number of colleges in California, specifically the UCs and state colleges. Right now my weighted GPA is a 3.9 with 10 AP courses taken. The lowest grade I’ve gotten in high school is a C. If I were to get C’s in the second semester of my senior year, then would that mean my applications will get rescinded?
Most UCs give specific grade and GPA thresholds to meet with your senior year courses. These conditions are detailed in the conditions given with admission offers.

Bottom line, do not slack off too much. Also, you want to finish strong because you want to be ready for the transition to college.
UCLA and UCB have stipulated in past years that you need to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA with no more than 2 C’s Senior year, no D’s or F’s. The rest of the UC’s have stated you need to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA Senior year with no D’s or F’s.
For the Cal states, it will vary by campus but just avoid any D’s or F’s Senior year.
