Just curious. Anything above a C, right? I have all A's and a B [in newspaper - that teacher is just..we don't get along].
Thanks! :)

You mean below a C? and that sounds about right for any university

Right, seems I was rather incoherent when I wrote this…
*Under WHAT conditions…
and anything above a C is safe, correct? Keepin’ the grades up is a must mon >_<
But I’m curious as to if I could squeak a C in AP Bio and Lit…hmmm. So I can use that time to prep for AP exams instead. The school curricula is ridiculous and yields a sub-50% pass-rate for both exams.

I think a B in newspaper will be fine. =p

Call UF tomorrow and ask for peace of mind. You’ll be fine with a C or higher, I’d imagine.

I’m not worried about me perse but I want to do THE minimum and still get maximum college credit from those APs.
But yeah, that newspaper teacher is just a loser D:

In years past it was any D’s or F’s that triggered a rescind decision. Your likely safe even with a C, unless they are ALL C’s.

Thanks sunnyflorida. As mentioned above my APs have a sub-50% pass rate so it’d be better for me to study than to the busywork they give us.
And it was per se* >_> I think I’m tired.
Thanks! [:

so it would be okay if its like ONE C in BC Calc? because in my case, technically i finished with math last year after i took the IB math test so this year as an elective i decided to take AP calc… not my best decision. and my grades are pretty bad in the class but i was hoping that UF wouldnt rescind me if i had that one C and the rest of my grades were As and Bs

One C is probably fine. Call the office to make sure, but I can’t imagine that they’d rescind your acceptance over a single ‘C’ in a tough Calc class during your senior year.

thanks i’ll call them tomorrow then so i wont have to keep worrying about this

Will I get rescinded because I’m getting a C in one DC class and could be getting a D in another DC class? I haven’t checked my grade with the teacher but I’ve been doing badly on exams in DC Anatomy and Physiology, which I’m not interested in enough, so I procrastinate and do badly in it. and its really hard anyway. I shouldn’t make excuses but I feel dumb and awful.

So in DC Anatomy and DC pre-calculas I have Cs and maybe a D. I think I can get Pre Calc up to a B.
In AP US Government and AP European History and AP English Literature I have B, A, A. and an A in an easy class.

Will I get rescinded? Will the good and bad grades balance each other out? I’m really really worried. Last semester I got Bs in the DC courses, but they were technically separate courses. I had to go to this convention and I didn’t have enough time so I’m probably not going to get much better on the next exam, and there’s only a few more to go.

D’s will be a problem. No D’s and you will likely be OK. A D however, will be a problem.
