Underachiever get into CSU?

I have about a 2.2-2.4 gpa and an SAT of about 1600-1700 do u think I can get into any of these CSU's? I go to one of the best schools in california so that should hopefully factor something in durring the admission processes.
the schools ranked in what i want to go to...
1. San Diego State
2. Cal SU Long Beach
3. Chico State
4. San Jose State
5. Cal SU Fullerton
Do I have any chance at all at getting into San Diego or Long Beach I would love to go there if I don't I think I will just go to a JC for 2 years then transfer to a UC. Do u think I should even try applying to these CSU's?
ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APRECIATED :)

Many CSUs accept you immediately if you meet the minimum requirements and visit their campus. The ones that have higher standards which are very hard and maybe impossible for you to get into are San Luis (Cal Poly), Pomona, Fullerton, Long Beach, and San Diego(no chance). Based on your gpa, in order to be eligible for CSU, your SAT math and reading combined score needs to be around 1060.

you will be an admit to the CSU campus within your service area as long as you meet the basic requirements. you have a decent chance of acceptance into other CSUs if you meet the admission standards and the programs are not impacted. that's the hard part. many programs on many campuses are, such as at san diego, san luis, long beach, pomona. in those instances selectivity plays a role, and your GPA immediately throws you out. call and ask which high schools fit into that campuses service area. some overlap, which means they are counted in two.

Many CEOs got their BS degrees from not so well-known universities.
Think of this way, college give you a second chance to achieve for your career path.

The official CSU website currently lists these CSU's as IMPACTED and would be much harder to get into:

Cal. State University Long Beach
Cal. State University Fullerton
CalPoly-Both Pomona and San Luis Obispo Campuses
San Diego State University
Sonoma State University

Keep in mind, though, that there are 23 campuses within the CSU system! That leaves 17 other CSU's that could be a possibility for you.

it should be noted that not every program is impacted at these six campuses. clever students at places like fullerton and pomona enroll into a non impacted major and then find a way to slide over.

Don't try to be too clever. Read the fine print. One example is the business major at Cal Poly SLO. A careful read of their web site tells you that you can never become a business major if you did not have the stats requirements when you initially applied.

you found the exception zagat. SLO puts up more restrictive rules than anybody in the CSU system in large part because the ag college is forced to take lower ranking applicants, many of whom have no interest in ag at all. a few still slip through via hard bargaining with faculty in the aspirant unit. it is not a cakewalk at any of these impacted campuses.

Can someone tell me what csu might accept me
