Does McGill do background checks on american students. Do they care about underage drinking citation? Is there a question on the application about any crimes committed. Does anyone know the exact wording if there is such.

McGill is a place to study...period

Drinking citation? If that's all you have there's nothing to worry about. Drinking ain't a big deal here.

McGill itself doesn't do background checks but you may have a question like that if you fill out your own student visa application. You don't have to list misdemeanors so it shouldn't be an issue. Even if it was classed as a felony I doubt they'd deny you a visa for underage drinking.

I am a canadian citizen, but a permanent resident in america, so i dont apply for a visa anyways rite?

Yes, if you're a Canuck citizen you're fine. You don't have to worry about a criminal record check or similar questions on the application.

I know this is off your topic but it seems that the participants in this discussion might have opinions about Corcordia's Liberal Arts College. Would you mind sharing any thoughts you might have?

Sorry to ask this question in the wrong place but I am very low tech.
