Which do you view as more important? Graduate/Med/Law school or Undergrad school?

I know both are important, but would it be better to a good undergrad or a good grad school?

I'm asking because I'm not sure if I want to spend 200k for my undergraduate school, or if I should save that money to go to a 200k grad school...

The tendency when evaluating someone’s resume in the professional world is to view the most recent education (and most recent experience) as being the best indicator of the individual. I can tell you that once you begin graduate school, almost nobody would care where you went to undergrad. That isn’t to say that your undergrad experiences aren’t important, they are. They will provide you with the background to pursue your future. Choose wisely where you attend undergrad but it isn’t important that you go to the very best college in the world, just the right one for you.

Both are equally important - your grad school will position you for a career in a particular field, but your undergrad experience will have a lot to do with how empowered you are to go far in any field. But I wouldn’t pay $200K for undergrad unless you’re genuinely price-insensitive (which I’d assume you’re not since you’re considering this question).
