its pretty clear cut.

1) Fordham
...
...
...
2) Iona
Pace
..
3) St. Johns
4) Seton Hall

someone forgot baruch and just a little further away, hofstra

id put bauch below iona/pace and above st. johns. hofstra is definitely bottom of the barrel

Include Manhattan College and LIU.

Manhattan tied for 2nd with iona/pace.

LIU I don't even know about.

baruch however would be very nice for its masters in finance. Undergrad isnt expecially notable

....if you are going to consider Seton Hall. Then I would also consider Rutgers and Montclair State.

SUNY Stony Brook? Maybe...and Rutgers. Both within an hr from NYC.

SB isnt for business they only got econ. Rutgers should be avoided.

what about the SUNYs? Anyone know if Binghamton is good for any departments of business? ex. accounting/finance etc.

dont go to Bing. If you have the stats for Bing you should be able to make Iona or Pace, and if you improve your stats slightly you should make Fordham.

Thanks TheMK99! Would you mind explaining why Bing would be a bad choice? And what is Bing good for? Also, are ANY of the SUNYs good for any particular business majors? (The reason why I would like SUNY is because of their prices.)

No SUNY's are particularly known for business. CUNY Baruch in the city has a decent reputation for business and is cheap, but has no dorms.

However,SUNYs and CUNYs are not top schools and have at best decent business reputations.

Actually, we not only have a School of Business, but we also have an MBA program, which you can combine with any undergraduate major on campus to complete a five-year Bachelor's/MBA degree program. And if you're interested in accounting specifically, there are few stronger small programs than the one at Old Westbury. In addition, Albany's School of Business is very well regarded. No matter what you're looking for, you'll find a strong program somewhere in SUNY.

bing actually has a decent reputation on wall street and a GREAT reputation with the big 4 accounting firms. However i fear those recruited from bing are going into operations for companies such as morgan and goldman

sbuadmissions I know it's your job to promote your school and all but the simple fact is that going to stony brook is not exactly the fast-track to wall street. while the same could be said of most of the other schools on my list, they're a bit better.

I'm not saying we are or aren't; I'm just saying that to discount an entire system is a fallacy. No matter what your major or what your school, the piece of paper you get at the end doesn't get you a job... you do. If you go to a "better school," but are barely competent, someone who comes out of another school who had a great internship and did really well is going to beat you in the job market. It's up to you, not your school.

If we are even discussing the undergrad B school -> wall street route, with the exception of Penn and NYU, most undergrad B school degrees aren't as strong as BA/BS's in Math, another quant. subject, or Econ. Going to a good regular college and choosing a decent major will open more doors and will be less restrictive in case you decent business is not for you.

Which one of schools should i go to for Business, Finance major and maybe double major in Finance and Accounting?

Pace, St. Johns or Hofstra.

My sister and some of my cousins goes to Pace. They seem to like Pace. However, according to that Business Undergrad Rank List I saw on another Thread, Hofstra was above both St. Johns and Pace. And Pace was pretty much on the bottom of that list.

You guys here put Pace above St. Johns and Hofstra. I haven't received a decision from Pace and Hofstra yet but I expect to get in.

Which one of these schools do you think I should go to for Finance/Accounting major?
Pace is very costly. Do you think it is worth all that money?
