Undergrad business school chances?

I just finished up my freshman in highschool and am hoping to major in finance when i get to college. I was looking at schools like NYU-stern and Umich-ross(or any similar schools for that matter). My freshman grades were sub-par for these schools(88.8/100 or 3.552/4), but during the 3rd trimester i got a 96.5 and could probably get a similar average over the next two years. My stats are:

State:NY
Gpa:88.8 or 3.552
Ap courses: school doesnt offer any but i am going to take a few through the John Hopkings CTY programs
EC's: 100+ volunteer hours at a hospital, Business and Finance Club, Model EU, have been investing in the market for the past year or so with fair returns(10-15%), and a few other clubs
Hooks: My mom and uncle both went to NYU and my mom was a teacher there for 8 years.

I would it’s a bit too early to ask for chances. Ask after your junior year so your GPA will establish itself fully and you take standardized tests. Good luck

As the previous poster said, it is way to early to tell. Your ECs are not eye popping and your GPA is not as high as it could be. Btw, I’m almost certain that CTY doesn’t offer AP courses (I have gone twice).

thanks for replying :). And btw, the cty online offers ap courses you can see for yourself right here- [Course List by Grade | JHU CTY](http://cty.jhu.edu/ctyonline/courses/index.html#9-12)

but i guess what im really wondering is how much will my freshman year hurt me in the future? Im assuming that colleges put more emphasis on sophomore and junior years?
