Can you please rank these schools in terms of chance of breaking into IB?
I know it is hard to compare schools from different countries, but I just want to hear from different perspectives
What nationality/access to work visas do you have?
Korean, so I would need to get a visa (which i know can be a hard process) to work in HK, the US, or UK.
Well, if you don’t know where or if you’ll be able to get a work visa, then your first choice should be whichever has the biggest reputation back in Korea, as that may where you need to be, especially coming out of undergrad.
My gut feel from a global perspective would be LSE, but I may be biased towards it (and quite frankly who knows what the UK IB industry is actually going look like in a few years)?
You have no preference on a 3 vs 4 year degree?
US IB and consulting are hyper competitive All the USA schools you listed are excellent for a variety of fields. Really well respected . .
To your question imho.
UVA. CMU. Elite level just below hpysm
Kelley solid opportunity for superstars
No idea on Uk or HK opportunity.
@privatebanker , do you have insight into how likely it is to get a job offer /work visa on graduation here? I know generally H1 work visas are (quite literally) a lottery that get allocated once a year.
Do finance grads qualify for OPT?
