Hey guys. I'm just curious. What is the best uni that offers finance and that has good prospects for employability. I am lookig into UBC, Mcgill and U of T. Also, how are these schools for an international student(am becoming one in two years)

Ivey at University of Western Ontario if you are strict on finance.
Queen’s is just as good as Ivey @ UWO for finance, and is also strong in other business majors (more flexible than UWO)

UBC is decent, UT’s Rotman for undergrad is equal to UBC, which are both not the best. However, UT’s MBA is amazing.

McGill is great too, but I’d do Ivey @ UWO and Queen’s first for finance jobs.

i see. how are the job prospects of those from Ivey and Queens?

Also, i do not get the 2+2 program of Ivey. Must one finish a degree first prior to getting into business?

cliffhanger33 nailed it. I’m a Queen’s Commerce student and I know about a dozen+ upper years signing with Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Bain Capital and a big bunch signing with Canadian banks.
