Undergrad Fordham v. Notre Dame => shoot for top law school later

Hi,

I'm pondering over which school I should attend for undergrad.
Although Fordham is a reputable university and that I have high regards for this university, Notre Dame is ranked higher and has a national recognition. Also, though this may be just an assumption, it may be easier to get a better GPA at former than the latter (please correct me if I'm wrong!). And of course, law school admission is mostly number game, so should I be attending a college where I might have a higher chance of getting a good gpa for the sake of shooting for top law school?

If I had made any comments that may offend anyone please don't chastise. I'm just basing my views on admission stats of each university.

Thanks a lot.

If you know you're going to do law (which very few people do at this age) then go the school at which you will incur the least debt. However, since very few of us know whether or not we will like law in a few years, you should probably go to the school that will offer you options other than law.

Both schools offer just about the same in financial aid.
Both schools offer great biz programs.
ND got Chicago. Fordham got New York City.

I'm going to be a finance major as an undergrad, and hopefully incorporate that into molding myself as business-related lawyer.

I would choose ND.

I think ND gives you more opportunities and more majors to choose from, especially if you change your mind about pursuing law.
