Despite having the stats to go to a top 20 school undergrad, I am attending the 80th ranked Baylor for religious reasons. I was wondering if being a part of the Honors program would help in Law School admissions at all, or if I should not take part in it due to the fear of lowering my GPA?

Im sure it will and Baylor’s a respected school in Texas so you’ll be fine. Still try and keep your GPA good/high, assuming you live in Texas.(UH/SMU/UT are your top choices for law school) If you plan to work in Texas shoot for UT, if you cant get in SMU/UH are the next top choices.(Depending on if you want to work in Dallas or Houston)

I left Baylor/Tech law out due to location. UNTs opening a law school soon in Dallas, so be on the lookout.

I think its safe to say that the T14 rule doesn’t necessarily apply to the state of Texas.
