Are there readily available undergrad research opportunities at Ole Miss for Honors College students?

@nerdyparent Honors College students are required to complete a thesis in their major so there is definitely an opportunity for research there. Students have begun to participate in research as early as their freshman year. You do kind of have to indicate your interest in engaging in research if you want to do so early because many professors work with upperclassmen, but they are more than willing to take on a dependable freshman or sophomore.
