Hey everyone,
I am currently a Junior at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth pursuing a degree in Finance.I currently have a 3.1 GPA and am looking to stay at school an extra semester in order to boost my gpa to around a 3.4-3.5. Will staying an extra semester and retaking courses boost my chances when time comes to apply to business school or should I simply graduate on time with a 3.2? I am also looking at taking a calc course next year because my business program does not require it... I never realized most did so figure might as well round out my transcript.
Thanks

I didnt word this clearly I am staying an extra semester to retake courses from Freshman/Sophmore year that I got C’s and B- in. Is retaking the courses worth it or will Grad programs just see the low grades and ignore the new ones?

Good question. I have been considering the same thing, or rather staying an extra semester to earn a minor to boost my GPA up as well.
