Undergrad to Grad

Is it pointless to major in business as an undergrad and then pursue an MBA at grad school later? Or is it just better to major in something else and then pursue an MBA? I read somewhere, forgot where, but it said how b-schools aren't particularly fond of undergrad business degrees. True or false?

False, MBA programs don’t really care what you majored in as long as it opened some doors for you to get good experience that you can share with your classmates in their MBA program.

That said, an MBA is something you pursue about 5 years after completing undergrad, and most BBAs decide they do not need to go back for one. If you go to a top 10 BBA program, your degree is already going to take you farther than an MBA from an average school.

If you want to study business, you should go for it.
