Does attending a school with a good med. school (harvard, jhu, washu) as an undergraduate help you get into your respected schools graduate program?

It varies from school to school. It is often rumored that at the most prestigious institutions, there is actually a disadvantage. It does sort of make sense: more kids are going to apply, so unless they're going to admit more, they have to be more qualified.

Some schools, however, have the explicit policy that it helps to go to their undergraduate institutions. Most schools that do this do so in order to attract talented premeds to their undergrad programs. I'm pretty sure Emory does this, and I think Northwestern also might.
